Die tapferen drei Schneiderlein
Anton, Franzi und Wanda machen eine kleine Rast am Ufer der Limmat beim Landesmuseum nach ihren Streifzügen durch den Zürcher Kreis 5! Sie kommen alle 
drei aus Stuttgart, Franzi und Wanda absolvierten während 2 Wochen ein Praktikum am 
Theater Neumarkt in der Kostümabteilung. Anton ist auf Besuch bei Ihnen und macht ebenfalls eine drei jährige Ausbildung zum Theaterschneider. Alle drei lernen sie am Staatstheater in Stuttgart das Handwerk zum/zur TheaterschneiderIn.

Es ist ihr letztes gemeinsames Wochenende in Zürich und es gibt noch eine Menge zu entdecken bevor sie wieder in ihre Heimat zurückfliegen um das letzte Jahr ihrer Ausbildung erfolgreich als tapfere Theaterschneider zu meistern!

The Three Courageous Couturiers
Anton, Franzi and Wanda take a little break in the late afternoon near the riverside Limmat at the Landesmuseum after their wanderings around quarter 5 in Zürich! All three of them
coming from Stuttgart, Franzi and Wanda have completed a stage for two weeks at the studio for costume of the theatre Neumarkt. Anton is just here for a visit, he also absolves during three years an apprenticeship for couturier of the theatre. All three of them are learning the handicraft for the couturier of the theatre at the nationale theatre of Suttgart.
It is their last weekend in Zürich and still there are many things to discover until they return to their hometown and than their will finish successful the last year of the apprenticeship to become three courageous couturiers of the theatre!

 Der schönste Tag
 Barbara und Petra (v.links n. rechts) stehen kurz vor der Eröffnung, der Ausstellung 
"Der schönste Tag" Hochzeitsfotografien des 19. - 21. Jahrhunderts im Museum Schloss Oberhofen am Thunersee, auf dem Schiffssteg und lachen mir trotz Regen zu!
Barbara hat das ganze Ausstellungskonzept "Der schönste Tag" von der Idee, der Raumgestaltung bis hin zur Umsetzung realisiert. Sie arbeitet seit 20 Jahren als Ausstellungsgestalterin selbständig für diverse Historische Museen in der Schweiz, sowie auch in Deutschland. Ursprünglich ist sie gelernte Dekorationsgestalterin, für sie war von Anfang an klar nach der Ausbildung selbständig zu arbeiten. Wo findet sie ihre Inspirationen für ihre Ausstellungs-Projekte? In allem möglichen, im Alltag und auch in der Musik!
Petra, die Lichtgestalterin aus Stuttgart-Land war für die ganze Beleuchtung der Ausstellung zuständig. Ihr Werdegang fing mit einer Lehre in Siebdruck an. Nach der Ausbildung absolvierte sie in Basel die Video-Fachklasse und anschliessend arbeitete sie als Beleuchtungstechnikerin an verschiedenen Theatehrn, wie zum Beispiel in der Kaserne in Basel. Dort sammelte sie ihre ersten Erfahrungen in Beleuchtungstechnik. Das Interesse zum Licht wurde immer wie stärker. So kam es, dass sie durch Freunde auf eine Schule, "NationTheatre School of Montreal" in Kanada aufmerksam wurde, die spezifisch eine Ausbildung zur/zum Lichtdesigner/in anbot. Petra überlegte nicht lange und ging nach Montreal für zwei Jahre. Seit der abgeschlossenen Ausbildung zur Lichtdesignerin arbeitet Petra selbständig für verschiedene Tanz-Theater, Ausstellungen und realisiert auch eigene Kunstprojekte in Lichtdesign im Aussenbereich in der Schweiz. Was inspiriert sie für ihre kreative Arbeit? Die Natur, die Schatten der Blätter, die Inspirationen kommen meistens im Zusammenhang mit einem Projekt an dem sie gerade arbeitet.


The most beautiful day
The opening for the exhibition "The most beautiful day" photography from the 19th - 21th century about the wedding at the museum "Castle Oberhofen" near the lake of Thun will be open in a short time the doors. Barbara and Petra (left side to the right side) are standing in front of the lake of Thun on the pier and laughing at me even it rains!
Barbara has worked out the whole exhibition concept "The most beautiful day" from the idea, the installation in the rooms until to the realisation. She works already for twenty years self-employed as an exhibition-designer for many historical museums in Switzerland and even in Germany. Original she is a window-designer, after this education it was clear for her to work independently. Where she finds her inspirations for her exhibition projects? In everything, in the everyday life and also in some good music!
Petra, the light-designer from Stuttgart-Country was for the whole concept for the lighting responsible. Her career started in serigraphy. After her apprenticeship she complete the Art Class of Video in Basel and then she began to work as an lighting-engineer at different theatres, for exemple the Kaserne in Basel. There she collected her first experiences for the thechnology for lightning. Her interest for the lighting becam more and more stronger, so, one day, friends of her told her about a school in Canada with a specific formation for technology for lightning "The Nation Theatre School of Montreal". Petra didn't think to long and went for two years to Montreal! After the completed formation for Light Design, Petra works as a self-employed light-designer  for some theatre of dance, exhibitions and also she realizes her own outdoor art project for light in switzerland. What inspires her art work?
The nature, the shadows of the leaves and of corse the inspirations depends also of the project she is working on.

Der Event Manager
Für Rolf ist es immer wieder spannend Leute aus kreativen Berufen kennenzulernen und diese auch wiederum zu vermitteln. Zum Beispiel junge Modedesigner/Innen können bei Globus während 2 Wochen ihre Kollektion zeigen und verkaufen. In der Zwischenzeit organisiert die Agentur "real time society", die von Rolf gegründet wurde, auch Events für das Warenhaus Globus. Wir sind uns bei so einem Event vor dem Eingang beim Globus in Zürich begegnet als eine balinesische Tänzerin einen Tanz vorführte und eine andere balinesische Frau Glücksblumen verkaufte. Nicht nur für Globus werden Events organisiert sondern auch für andere bekannte Firmen, sowie auch für die bekannte Designermesse -"Blickfang". Rolf ist ursprünglich gelernter Koch und kommt aus Schaffhausen. Seine Berufserfahrungen sammelte er zuerst in der Gastronomie in Zürich und kam so durch Beziehungen in neue Berufsgebiete.
Wo findet er seine Inspirationen? Im alltäglichen Leben, ein schönes Lachen, die blühende Natur und ein gutes Essen für den Gaumen und das Auge beflügeln ihn!



The Event Manager
For Rolf it is always exciting to meet people from creative jobs and also to connect them.
For exemple young fashion designer can show and sell their collection for two weeks in the big store Globus. In the meantime the agency "real time society" who was founded by Rolf,
organize also some events for the store Globus. We meet eachother for an event in front of the entrance of Globus in Zürich as a dancer performed the way they dance in Bali and an other woman from Bali selled some special Luck-Flowers. But not only for Globus they organize events also for some other known companys and as well for the design fair "Blickfang". His first traineeship was to become a cook in Schaffhausen and than he made some experience for catering in Zürich. There he made some good contacts who brought him in other jobs areas.
Where he finds his inspirations? The everyday life, a beautiful laughter, the blossomed nature and a good dinner for the palate and the eyes let him bloom!

Samuel der Sonderling
Schon früh wusste Samuel das er Künstler werden möchte, also probierte er es vor rund 50 Jahren an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Basel. Der Vorkurs war schon ausgebucht, kein Platz mehr für ihn jedoch mit einbisschen Glück konnte er trotz seiner verspäteten Anmeldung am einjährigen Vorkurs teilnehmen! Anschliessend absolvierte er die Malfachklasse bei Franz Fedier, ein deutsch-schweizerischer Maler der abstrakten Malerei. In der Malfachklasse lernte er nicht nur das Malen, sondern auch Skulpturen zu gestalten und zu modellieren.
Später unterrichtete er selber an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Basel das Fach Material-
studien. Ich selber besuchte auch ein Jahr lang den Vorkurs an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Basel und war bei Samuel im Unterricht! Jetzt ist er pensioniert und kann sich voll und ganz seinem künstlerischen Tun hingeben.
Was inspiriert ihn in seiner Kunst? Die Prozesse in der Natur, die Strukturen, die zum Beispiel auf der Autoscheibe entstehen, wenn es leicht regnet und durch die Luft verwirbelt werden. Später gibt die Inspiration eine Idee die sich entweder in eine fotografische Arbeit, in eine Installation oder in eine Skulptur entwickelt. Wir sind uns übrigens im Brockenhaus in Basel begegnet. 


Samuel the nerd
Samuel knew very early that he will be an artist and so he tried before 50ies years ago to go at the Art School in Basel. He was to late for his registration, so first there wasn't a place for him, but with a little bit luck he could take a part of the Art School! Afterwards he complete the Art Class of Painting by Franz Fedier, a german-swiss Painter very known at this time as an abstract Painter. At the Art Class of Painting he learned to paint and also to creat and to model sculptures. Later Samuel was also a teacher at the Art School in Basel for the studies of materials. I was also for one year at the Art School in Basel and I went in the cours for the studies of materials from Samuel! Now he is retired and he's got a lot of time to give in his art work. 
What is his inspiration for his art work? The processes in nature, structures, for exemple a window of a car is full of raindrops and suddenly with the air the raindrops become another structure. Later the inspiration gives an idea and than it could develop in a photography, an installation or even in a sculpture. By the way, we meet eachother at the thrift store in Kleinbasel.
